The Charles Koch Foundation needs an academic research manager to play an integral role in ensuring that the Foundation continues to improve its impact on the study of societal well-being. This individual will play a key role on the university investments team, which is an important component of the Foundation’s work to support scholars and programs. The ideal candidate will be an experienced research manager who can quickly and thoroughly understand and assess the current body of research on free societies as well as the critical issues the Institute is focused on. They will also have the ability to identify and make recommendations as to how the Foundation and Institute could engage with this research in a meaningful way. Internal teams will also look to this person as a trusted resource to keep them informed and updated on the latest developments in the Foundation’s support of higher education. Responsibilities: - Develop a strong knowledge of the Foundation’s support of higher education and keep relevant staff updated and informed of the latest related developments. - Coordinate with the Charles Koch Institute and the Foundation to help develop and execute strategy on the critical issues that the Institute is focused on.
