We’re looking for a proactive go-getter to provide vital donor relations and moves management support to the Director of Development on a dynamic and high energy team working to promote the ideas of a free society. If you operate with a high sense of urgency, possess a customer-focused mentality, and have the ability to maintain composure while overcoming hurdles and adapting to shifting priorities at a moment’s notice – then this is the role for you! Your Responsibilities in this role: - Support moves management tracking for development managers and 2 top national fundraisers. - Assist in the identification and cultivation of opportunities for stewardship. - Exercise sound judgement in prioritizing the Director’s time, understanding and partnering to help manage their portfolio, and ensuring adequate preparation of materials for meetings (including talking points, briefings, and bios). - Collect and evaluate information from cross-team collaborations to bring perspective and make recommendations to the development team and understand investment opportunities to share with donors and potential donors. - Maintain discretion and professionalism in managing the Director’s correspondence. Your Experience: - You have 2+ years of experience in a fundraising environment. - You have a college degree or equivalent work experience. - You enjoy, and have demonstrated competency with Project Management. - You possess a high level of initiative, sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to anticipate needs. - You have superior professionalism and ability to work well with all levels of staff. - You demonstrate economic thinking to prioritize and create process improvements. - You're responsive, adaptive, and have the ability to create calm in the midst of chaos. - Experience in SharePoint, Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook and Excel preferred. - You convey excitement for advancing the ideas of a free society.
